Chewie checking out Red Rock Dam

Rob Hammann

I’m a Pacific Northwest transplant living in Iowa. I’m a Christ follower, husband to Robin, father to Micah, and ordained minister in the Church of the Nazarene. I’m passionate about software development, running, and board games. I am a volunteer  cross country coach at Pella High School. I have been working as a software engineer at Vermeer Manufacturing since 2015 and love the work I do.

We have a dog, Chewbacca, a cross between a Black Lab and a Wire Haired Pointing Griffon. We live with my parents in Pella Iowa. From time to time I write things and add them to this blog. Not really with an intent for anyone to read but to force me to get some thoughts out of my head and to preserve them before I lose them. I was born in 1971 so you can calculate my age. It is getting harder and harder to retain things. 😉
